Spring Break 2027
March 21-28 2027
There is a moment, just before spring fully arrives, when the world feels like it’s holding its breath. March lives in that in-between—softening edges, loosening what has been held too tightly, inviting us back into motion, but gently. This retreat is an offering to meet yourself in that space. Not where you think you should be, but exactly where you are.
Over these seven days together, we will move. Sometimes slowly, sometimes strongly, and often together. Over the course of this week we will connect with the rhythm with the ocean and earth. Time will be more fluid. We will create space for the parts of you that have been waiting—patiently or impatiently—to be acknowledged.
We will make our schedule with the rhythm of the tides. There will be morning yoga and meditation practices that ground you back into your body. Quiet rituals that connect you to that one small quiet voice. Conversations that are less about fixing and more about witnessing. For the rest of the day, we will immerse ourselves in time outside, where the natural world reminds us how to begin again without force. Surf, hikes, swimming, whale and bird watching, paddle boarding, lounging in the shade, reading a book, writing, drawing. We will make space together for wholeness and rest in all of it’s forms.
Nothing here asks you to perform or improve. There is no version of you that needs to arrive.
Instead, this is a space to soften. To notice. To remember.
You may come feeling tired, restless, uncertain, or simply curious. You may not have words yet for what you need—and that’s okay. We’ll let the days unfold without urgency, trusting that clarity comes not from pushing, but from allowing.
By the time you leave, something subtle may have shifted. Not loud or dramatic, but real. A little more space in your breath. A quieter mind. A deeper sense of belonging to yourself.
And maybe that’s enough

The area has a unique blend of geography and wind- creating perfect conditions for all level of surfers. Included in your retreat package is one complimentary introduction to surf; this lesson is on-land in our yoga shala. Creating an experience that is not only fun, but educational and empowering in the water- and on land—is the priority. For those who already surf we have an extensive quiver or boards for rent, we do taxis to the surf break where we teach the lessons, we also do guided surf trips to the point breaks and guests can also grab a bike and surf at the beach break here in town.
Adventure
Set on the remote Pacific coast of Cambutal on Panama's Azuero Peninsula, Sansara is your gateway to one of Central America's last truly undiscovered adventure destinations. Here, jungle-covered mountains meet the Pacific Ocean, creating a landscape rick with experiences - from uncrowded surf breaks and oceanfront yoga to waterfall hikes, horseback riding along the beach, stand-up paddleboarding, and seasonal whale watching. Whether you're exploring the coastline by 4x4, hiking inland to hidden cascadas, or immersing yourself in the rhythms of the ocean, Cambutal offers a rare combination of raw nature, authentic culture, and space to experience it all without the crowds.
